How do you get here from there?

Don't let all this writing fool you, as getting to Lynn is easy! From Cambridge, you can go to I-90 East and then follow these directions or you can follow directions below. Once you get into Lynn, RAW is located near the MBTA Station in Central Square. RAW is actually in "Central Square" (NOT Central Avenue or Central Street!) but this street is only one block long and not well-marked. Exchange and Union Streets flow into it, beneath the MBTA overpass, and Willow and Washington Streets flow out of it (at the end of Central Square Willow forks right and Washington forks left). From Cambridge

• Get to Union Square in Somerville
• At main post office in the Square, road will take a 90 degree turn to the RIGHT
• Bear RIGHT at the first set of lights, to go through the right-hand lights
• Follow road under overpass and under railroad tracks. Drive past shopping area, under highway, past T station on left, and to light at rotary.
• Go through the rotary, taking the turnoff after the Schrafts building to the right, follow signs to Rt. 1 North
• Stay on this road, Rt. 99, until it brings you to next rotary, take the first turn off rotary, still following signs to Rt. 1 North.
• This puts you onto Rt. 16 East.
• Route 16 East toward Revere, under overpass, ends at large rotary and traffic light
• Follow sign "Rt. 1A North," first turn off rotary, more like just bearing slightly to the RIGHT after the light
• 1A North exactly 5 miles, look for signs for 1A North taking a left
• Get into left lane, turn LEFT at light
• Following 1A, immediately TURN RIGHT at next light (very well-marked). You will be in front of a large parking garage/ T Station.
• Take FIRST LEFT onto Union Street. Go two short blocks and BEAR LEFT as the road goes under a train overpass and into Central Square
• We are 1/2 way down this block on the RIGHT. We are #37, next to Omar & Oscar Jewelry.
• Please meet us on the 2nd floor

There is free one hour parking on both sides of Central Square. Or pass our brick building and take a RIGHT to find free two hour parking on both sides of this street. Otherwise, drive to the end of block and take a LEFT, and another quick LEFT which will bring you into the "Buffum Street Municipal Parking" for 25 cents an hour. The attendant leaves at night, but the lot itself doesn't close, your car won't be locked in.
