Two of My all-time Favorite Shoes from FinishLine.com
I am a person of brands. I use Timberland and Nike shoes. Mostly because of the durability and functionality of the products and partly because my dad used the same brands and I never had him complain. I do not buy the same shoes he used to wear. Here are my two all-time favorite shoes from FinishLine.com:
1. Timberland Premium Boots
If you, like me, prefer casual wear to official wear, you will understand the elegance that comes with rocking a Timberland boot. By the fact that this shoe is made of leather and a strong sole, its durability is outstanding. I never worry of rain thanks to the waterproof leather material used to make the boot. The craftsmanship of this shoe is awesome and keeps me in fashion every time I garb on my boot. Timberland knows how to get their customers hooked by updating their footwear to bring re-phased same shoes in the market. Two things I like most about the new Timberland boot; anti-fatigue technology and the light weight, both of which helps in absorbing shock.
The forefoot and the toe box are lined with a moisture absorber (breathable fabric) that keeps the feet dry. The outsole is made of rubber lug to provide traction while the rustproof hardware ups the shoe's durability. Currently the shoe costs $189 which is not a bad price for me given the durability. You can find it for $160 at Zappos.
I do not like the fact that there are only two color choices. I need shoes that will match all my clothes.
Here is a summary of all the features I like:
- Waterproof material
- Shock absorption
- Durable outsole made of rubber lug
2. Nike Flyknit Lunar 3
I like running and exercising daily. The Flyknit Lunar 3 is my running shoe thanks to the comfort it gives. The shoes come handy when I run since they are light and when I do my daily workouts as they are comfortable. The high stretch the shoe offers enhances fit and feel with the fit collar holds the foot just right. The design of the show makes it look great when I wear it with my tracksuit. The cushioned underfoot makes every step feel like a run on mattress. The rubber outsole disperses shock to realize a smooth feel. The flexible grooves keep me encouraged to run more.
Currently, the shoe costs $149.99. I, however, do not like the design of the laces. I do not feel comfortable tying and untying the shoe laces every time. I feel that the same great shoe should not have laces and instead have a rubber that stretches to fit.
Summary of Features
- Lightweight and breathable single layer of Flyknit material
- Lunarlon cushioned midsole with contoured sockliner
- Pressure-mapped rubber outsole with flex grooves
